Another Gift Idea Tasting! December 21, 2016

Stuck trying to figure out what gifts to get? Don't worry. We are here to help! While the rest of the holiday shoppers frantically traverse the chilly streets, you'll be warm and cozy in here, either having a glass of mulled wine (made from Josiah's special recipe) or tasting our featured seasonal wines. The two features are sure to please anyone you gift them to, whether they're grouchy like Scrooge, chipper like Tinkerbell, or somewhere in between. Come on by, and have a taste for $10!

Folk Machine Pinot Noir Antle Vineyard 2014 ($26)

Kenny Likitprakong is behind Folk Machine's adventurous and balanced wines made from grapes he sources from sustainable and cooler vineyards. From his vagabonding days, Kenny learned to live without owning too many things that might limit his travels. He takes this idea to winemaking and produces some awesome wines from all over California that are never limited by style. It so happens that this Pinot Noir is fantastic with some crispy roast duck or just casual sipping, making it the perfect wine to gift!

PS Piedrassasi Carbonic Sangiovese 2015 ($21)

Sashi Moorman is our man! Before becoming a winemaker, he spent a bit of time cooking in kitchens and developing a great palate for all things delicious. It's no wonder that his wines, in all their vibrant glory, have easily remained some of our bestsellers year-round. This Sangiovese is juicy and refreshing, sure to win over picky tasters. The classy squat bottle looks extra handsome from its place beneath the tree to the dinner table. Be sure to pick one up to gift and another to add to your personal stash.
